Humanity is Building the future on the wrong network

about me, the autor and creator of the idea

After having worked basically all my life with network structures and first approaches of the internet and first steps with the internet, creating internet based closed circle communication systems,, I always have thought about the next steps of  humanity development in relation with new communication technologies.
After having lived on all continents and basically in all parts of the world, I finally moved to South America, with a couple of years in Panama, Brazil and Argentina, then Colombia. There I decided to finally structure the idea.

As the result of oll that structuring the manifest "5E Una Red Limpia" was terminated 2020 together with 2 spanish speaking co writers.

After a worldwide pandemic, now artificial intelligence, robots and humanoid Roberts entering the space now, it becomes more and more clear that we have to find new solutions for what comes next.

So I started give it more thoughts, redesigned filter and then start now to evaluate, how we could  possibly dig into creating a new society like that. And that's my first attempt here.

The document "5E Una Red Limpia - Versión 1_1_Julio_2020" outlines several critical reasons why humanity needs a new collaboration base, encapsulated in the concept of a "clean network" (Red Limpia). Key points from the document include:

  1. Technological Dominance and Human Disconnection:

    • Technology increasingly governs human lives, often at the expense of interpersonal and physical interactions.

    • Social connections have become mediated by applications that prioritize convenience but reduce the depth of human relationships.

  2. Fragmented and Overwhelming Information:

    • The current digital ecosystem bombards users with excessive, unregulated, and often harmful content, such as fake news, misinformation, and hate speech.

    • Algorithms further fragment societies by promoting echo chambers and limiting exposure to diverse perspectives.

  3. Economic Inequality in Data:

    • The economic value of personal data is harvested by corporations without equitable benefit-sharing with individuals.

    • The existing systems reinforce wealth gaps, where only a select few benefit from the digital economy.

  4. Climate and Resource Pressures:

    • Climate change and resource depletion demand collective, coordinated action, which is hindered by fragmented and competitive global responses.

  5. Call for Solidarity Through Innovation:

    • The document advocates for a network fostering solidarity and mutual respect, leveraging technology to unite rather than divide.

    • This vision emphasizes free and fair information access, a new moral code for digital spaces, and secure infrastructures that prioritize human well-being.

These themes suggest a need to rethink how we use technology and networks to ensure they serve humanity’s collective goals, including equity, sustainability, and shared prosperity. This clean network aims to redefine technological and social structures for a more inclusive and resilient future.
